
Beth Perkel was first published in national and international magazines by age seventeen, won her first writing award at age eighteen, and had her writing included in a New York Times bestselling book by age nineteen.
Beth’s education in and passion for psychology and journalism began during her years at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and conducted funded national and international psychology research. Since then, she has written in-depth articles, fiction stories, and first-person essays for over a dozen online and print publications. Her work has been featured in Newsweek Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, The Jerusalem Post, Mishpacha Magazine, Family First, Ami Magazine, Binah Magazine, Aish.com, and in many books. Beth is also the author of two books and the Honors program director at Touro University’s Sarah Hartman Women’s College. In addition, she is a sought-after national and international speaker. In her free time, Beth loves hosting the podcast Ideas that Changes Lives, cooking Moroccan food, and winning snowball fights. She lives in Chicago with her husband and children.
